A very popular hill with the Moulin Rouge cabaret at its foot and the Sacré-Coeur Basilica on its summit, Montmartre is famous as the artistic center of Paris from the 1860s to the 1920s. Walk up with your guide through the old cobbled stone streets alongside the former workshops of many artists (Toulouse-Lautrec, Renoir, Van Gogh, Picasso….) and feel the special atmosphere of Montmartre!
And from the top of the hill enjoy the splendid view of the entire city. Your guide will help you identify the major spots. Montmartre continues to be a place of leisure where many artists and performers entertain the visitors.
